Water code union

THE Fertiliser Manufacturers Association and the Environment Agency have joined forces to compile two new codes of practice to help reduce the risk of water pollution during handling and storage of solid and fluid fertilisers.

Aimed at producers, contractors, suppliers and store-keepers, The Code of Practice for the Prevention of Water Pollution from the Storage and Handling of Solid Fertilisers, and its sister publication covering fluid fertilisers, include relevant legislation and guidelines.
