Wide interest in online courses

ONLINE computer courses, developed by the Governments Learn Direct initiative, have generated a wide response from farmers and those across the industry.

The courses are run by the Farm Consultancy Group and range from basic IT to more advanced skills. Tutor John White offers telephone support during working hours to help people get started.

“The real advantage is the flexibility as users can choose how and when to work through the course,” says Mr White.
