SIGNIFICANT areas of agricultural grazing land may be unable to supply sufficient sodium (Na) and selenium (Se).

Bigger milk yields and higher protein and butterfat content are just some of the proven benefits of correcting deficiencies of these trace elements, which can be addressed by applying Hydro TOP STOCK 25:5:5 + Se/Na to grassland.

Hydro research has shown that deficiencies of selenium and sodium in grass lead to fertility problems and increased incidence of mastitis, in addition to poorer all-round performance in dairy cows. Where the balance is redressed through the use of TOP STOCK, milk yields have been boosted by 9%, with protein levels up 9.6% and butterfats 15.6% higher.
