Women’s group names GM suppliers

THE Womens Nutritional Advisory Service has named 20 suppliers and retailers who sell food containing genetically modified (GM) products.

They include Sainsburys, Safeway, Somerfield, Tesco, Asda, Budgens, Kwik Save and Spar.

The group, which is opposed to GM food, also lists 47 firms that avoid GM soya. These include Waitrose and Iceland.
