Wurzels are back

Wurzels are back

THERE are not many arable crops in central London, but you still see combine harvesters there when the Wurzels are in town.

Twenty-five years after they hit number one with Combine Harvester, the band is re-re-releasing a 2001 remix of the song on July 30. To mark the occasion they were making a one-off appearance in central London today (July 13), arriving in style on an enormous combine harvester.

The single is set to raise thousands of £s for the victims of foot-and-mouth. EMI is giving 50p from the sale of each CD to the NFUs Helping Farmers in Crisis fund. &#42
