Zimbabwe land reform benefits ‘chosen few’


CABINET ministers, generals and judges in Zimbabwe will share in the countrys redistribution of land from white farmers, it is being claimed.

A local newspaper has printed a confidential memo which sets out the beneficiaries of the Commercial Farming Resettlement Programme.

The disclosure revives fears that a handful of President Robert Mugabes associates will benefit, rather than the many Africans living on overcrowded communal lands.
