Bentham Easter lambs hit £170

Prime lambs in Bentham’s Easter show and sale of new season lambs hit an amazing £170/head this week when Ruben Park sold the show champion, a Suffolk x Charollais lamb weighing 44kg to Radfords Butchers of Sleights, Whitby. That’s a staggering 368p/kg.

Reserve champion was a Texel cross from Robert and Raymond Heigh of Bentham which weighed in at 36kg and sold for £108 (300p/kg) also to Radfords.
