Lanark Texel sale update

Here are a couple more highlights from today’s sale at Lanark.

Malcolm Reid, Kelso, has sold Kelso Pavarotti, a Mellor Vale Officer son at 40,000gns. He’s out of a dam by Castlecairn Keltic Star.

And, remarkably, he’s passed one through the ring at 45,000gns unsold. This one was Kelso Prostar, his first through the ring and another Officer son. This is out of a dam by Newhill Major. There are apparently now intense negotiations around the pen to secure this one, more news as we have it.

He also sold another at 14,000gns, I’m not sure which of his pen this is yet, but word is it was bought by Trinidad Investments, West Sussex. UPDATE – this was Kelso Patent, a Mellor Vale Officer son out of a Newhill Major daughter.

The reserve champion from Claybury sold for 7000gns. This one, Claybury Powerpacker, is a Millar’s Olympian son and out of a dam by Haddo Igniter.
