Dungannon Simmentals sell to 4000gns

I’ve not been furnished with a full report yet, but here is a brief run down of the Simmental sale at Dungannon yesterday.

Topping the sale at 4000gns was the pre-sale champion from Harold Stubbs and Alan Burleigh, Drumbulcan Waterfall. Bred by Kenny Stubbs this one is by Omorga Regan and out of Drumbulcan Risotto.

sim lot1dng10apr 3072.jpgNext best was a 3500gns bid for second prize bull Corrick Admiral from Cecil McIlwaine. This is a Curaheen Tyson son out of Darsham Mirabelle.

And at 3400gns was the best of the day from John Moore’s Omorga herd. This was Omorga Admiral, a Dovefields Gallant son out of Omorga Daffodil, a daughter of Cleenagh Daffodil, dam of 22,000gns bull Omorga Samson.

Selling at 3100gns was the reserve champion from Joe Campbell, Camus Ascot. This one is Brinkton Brilliant and out of Camus Polly.

Following that at 2800gns was Omorga Alex from John Moore. He’s by Towerhill Winston out of Omorga Daffodil.

And then came the best of the day from the Robson family, Kilbride Farm Acton. This is a Cairnview Snazzy son out of Kilbride Farm Dora and sold for 2600gns. At 2400gns was another from the Robsons, Kilbride Farm Armory. He is by Kilbride Farm Newry and out of Kilbride Farm Dora.

In the females the top call of 2900gns was made for Cladymore Tinkerbell from Alan Reaney. Sold with her Borness Troy sired bull calf at foot, this is by Dirnanean Nugget. Making 2100gns was the female champion on the day, from Eamon McCloskey. This was Drumnagarner Anabelle, a Derrycallaghan Hamilton daughter out of Caldwell Iris.
