Hexham Bluefaced Leicesters sell to £2400

Taking the top call of £2400 at Hexham’s sale of Bluefaced Leicesters was a shearling tup from the Brownleaze family. This one is by A2 Firth and out of a dam by X2 Highberries. Buying this one were two breeders, Messrs Snaith Clennel and J Herman, Eldingham.

top price brownleaze.jpgMaking £1500 was a shearling from Lowes Fell. This A5 Walton son was second in the pre-sale show and out of a dam by homebred W15 Lowes Fell. He was snapped up by Dennis Lumley.

second prize lowes fell.jpgSelling at £1400 was the champion in the pre-sale show, another shearling from Lowes Fell. This son of A5 Walton is out of a dam by a homebred tup and sold to G P Williams, for the Elian flock.
