Ketteringham Holsteins sell to 2150gns top

The dispersal of the Ketteringham herd of Holsteins for Foster Harrison Farms saw a top of 2150gns paid for second calver Ketteringham Bolton Ivy, a November calved cow sold giving 50.4kg a day. She went to John Shropshire for the Bridgelane herd, Market Drayton.

Next best was an 1850gns bid for Ketteringham Granite Marly, a Smiddiehill Granite-sired first calver due to calve again in June to Emmark Mammoth. She went to Philip Sinker.

Following on at 1800gns was Ketterigham Bolton Neeljte 2, a September calved Bolton heifer which sold to G Green and Son, Northwich. And at 1750gns was first calver Ketteringham Bandolier Norah, a Moet Bandolier daughter due with her second to Mammoth in July. She sold to E M Shingler and Son, Much Wenlock.

Then at 1720gns was Ketteringham Champion Zwartence 4, an October-calved second calver. She went to F W and R J Simcock, Hereford. At the same price was Ketteringham Bolton Klaasje, an August calved heifer which sold to R Adams, Shrewsbury.
