Royal Highland Show Thursday afternoon sheep results

The sheep rings have been action packed here this afternoon and here are the latest results I have, there are a couple missing, but I’ll endeavour to bring them to you either later this evening or first thing tomorrow.

In the Commercial Sheep classes the championship went to Jim and Wallace Kennedy with a pair of prime lambs by a Beltex sire. Reserve to them was Andrew Baillie with his ewe with lambs at foot.

Border Leicester champion was Messrs S and A Watson with thier shearling ewe and reserve was P M and N J Brown with their aged ewe.

Then in the Berrichon Du Cher ring the champion was Iain Johnston with an aged ram and reserve was Frances Barbour with a shearling ewe.

Jacob championship honours went to Messrs Connor and Dalrymple with an aged ewe and reserve was Clive Richardson with a shearling ram.

The Cheviot championship was won by W J Douglas with an aged tup and reserve was W N Douglas with a ewe with lambs at foot
