Trindlewell Texel dispersal achieves 2,100gns high

Pedigree Texels sold to 2,100gns at the Trindlewell Flock dispersal last week with owner John Studley selling due to retirement. With buyers traveling from as far as Scotland it’s no surprise fierce bidding resulted in a top price of 2,100gns for a 2008 born ewe purchased by Drayton Farm Partnership.

Shearling rams sold to 1000gns and averaged 734gns, with ram lambs averaging 441gns. Ewes averaged 510gns, shearlings 394gns and ewe lambs 434gns.
