The mules made up the largest contingent with almost 2,200 on offer selling to £172 to average £138.45 overall. Quality was mixed report auctioneers, with a top price of £172 for a pen from I D Gregory, Peak Forest.

The 1,400 Texel crosses rose in popularity with their average up some £8 on the year at £135.97. Topping prices in the Texel pens were Ede Holdings, Hollington at £176.
