Bake a cake to celebrate 140 years of Poultry World

Farmers Weekly’s sister tile Poultry World has a very special anniversary coming up – its 140th birthday.

Launched as The Fancier’s Gazette in April 1874, and morphing into Poultry World in 1909, the magazine is planning a number of special events for the April issue, and for the year to come.

Following the recent influx of cake pictures to Farmers Weekly (see picture above), we are asking you to help us celebrate by creating a birthday cake 
fit for the occasion.

Whether it’s in the shape of a colourful rooster, or something more abstract (how about a novelty coop?) or possibly even featuring the initials “PW”, all we ask is that you photograph your creation and email it by 24 March to fwfarmlife@rbi.co.uk

The best two will each receive a £25 M&S voucher.
