6000gns top for British Blues at Moira
Woodview Dane, an Empire D’Ochain son out of Woodview Alice, from Andrew Craig led the trade at the sale of British Blues at Moira on Saturday, with a 6000gns securing him for a Co Donegal breeder after he stood champion in the pre-sale show.
Next best in the bulls was a 3100gns call for another from the Woodview herd, Woodview Dennis, a Springbank Blackstar son out of Woodview Barbie. He was knocked down to a buyer from Crossmaglen, Co Amargh.
Top call in the females was a 3180gns sale for Ballyhosset Eventuality, while a 2850gns bid saw Lukeroyal Elsie from Mel Lucas sold to a new home. At 2800gns was Droit Empress, with Ballyhough Wendy making 2450gns.
