Senior Charolais champion makes 5200gns

The senior champion Maerdy Ellis from Esmor Evans’ strong run has just sold at 5200gns to Grove Farms, Dumfriesshire. This is by 50,000gns sire Thrunton Voldemort and out of Maerdy Term, a Kilboy Liseron daughter. He has a TSI of +28 and an SRI of +35.

The second prize bull from the same class, Glenericht Elgin, a Balniuth Brutus son out of Balmyle Becky, a Maerdy Othello daughter, then made the same price. He has a TSI of +24 and an SRI of +32.

Shortly after that came Ross Emperor (lot 260). This one is by Inverlochy Beesknees and out of Ross Victoria, a Brailes Snowy daughter. He has a TSI of +23 and an SRI of +31 and went at 4200gns to Grove Farms.
