Cross-bred Texels are helping to maximise lamb carcass values at Ystrad Fawr Farm, near Corwen. Berwyn Hughes and his nephew, Aled, run a flock of 300 Texel crossbred and Mule ewes and 600 Welsh ewes at their hill farm in Denbighshire.
