Drone training course aims to keep farmers legal

With the use of drones becoming more common place throughout agriculture, retailer DronesDirect.co.uk has launched a training course specifically aimed at the farming industry.
Drones can have huge benefits for farmers and landowners, who use them to quickly check crop growth stages, livestock health and maintain land boundaries.

To stay the right side of the UK law, anyone wishing to use a drone at work must hold a Civil Aviation Authority Permission for Commercial Operations (PfCO).
The training offers attendees first-hand knowledge from commercial drone pilots, with advice on still photography, topographical surveys and thermal imaging.
Taking place in Yorkshire, the three-day course costs ÂŁ1,100+vat, which includes a two-night hotel stay and no resit fee for users who require more time to pass.
