THE BRITISH Potato Council (BPC) is looking for nominations for this year’s British Potato Industry Award.

The award is designed to recognise an individual for their outstanding contribution to the British potato industry and the winner will be chosen by a panel of industry experts.

Anyone wishing to nominate a person for the award should contact the award committee secretary by July 31 2005 – details provided below.

The winner will be presented with a sterling silver rose bowl on the first day of BP2005 to be held at Harrogate, Yorkshire on 30 November-1 December.
