Lantra Awards to offer pesticide safety courses

Leading awarding organisation Lantra Awards will be showcasing its wide portfolio of pesticides courses at Cereals.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to watch live demonstrations on the stand looking at the application and safe use of pesticides.
Alan Knight, lead technical standards verifier for Lantra Awards, will be illustrating the best practices for a range of pesticide techniques, including how best to handle, apply and store pesticides.
Demonstrations will take place at 10.30am, 2.30pm and 4pm on Wednesday 9 June and at 10.30am, 1.30pm and 3pm, on Thursday 10 June.
Lantra Awards’ pesticide courses are suitable for both beginners and more experienced operators. Visitors to the stand (No. 1116) will be able to register their interest in the following courses at Cereals 2010:

Field Crop Sprayer – Hydraulic Nozzle – PA2
Field Crop Sprayer – Rotary Atomiser

Advanced Certificate in Spray Applications (Theory)
Those successfully completing training will receive a certificate of attendance to demonstrate their achievement.
