Latest postal strike to cause more disruption to Farmers Weekly deliveries this week

Farmers around the UK are set for further postal disruption this weekend thanks to the ongoing dispute between postal workers and their employers.

Readers of Farmers Weekly will be affected and may not receive this Friday’s issue (27 July) until Monday or Tuesday next week.

“We’re very frustrated that our readers will be affected, but unfortunately it’s a situation that’s beyond our control,” publisher Trevor Parker told FWi.

“But we’re lucky that we can keep readers up to date on Farmers Weekly Interactive where we carry all the latest breaking news. And with our new forums area – FWiSpace – users can keep in touch with each other, something that’s particularly important right now with the terrible weather many farmers have been experiencing.

“We’re hopeful of a speedy resolution to the dispute, and we will keep our readers informed of any further impacts. They should also be able to buy a copy at their local newsagent.”
