New approval for post-emergence cereals herbicide
Cereal growers have another post-emergence herbicide option for controlling a range of perennial and annual weeds, AgriGuard has announced.
Hatchet Xtra contains the generic active ingredient fluroxypyr. It can be used on winter and spring cereals, forage maize and grassland and is active against cleavers, volunteer potatoes in cereals, black nightshade in maize and docks and nettles in grassland.
AgriGuard claimed that independent field trials demonstrated that the product’s performance and crop safety profile is equally as good as the main established brand.
Hatchet Xtra contains 200g/l fluroxypyr and is an emulsifiable concentrate (EC) formulation.
