Opico launches bigger He-Va rolls

Cereals exhibitor 2009

Opico is launching the widest and heaviest model yet in the He-Va range of hydraulic folding rollsat the Cereals event.

The new five-section model is available with a working width of 12.5m or 15.3m, and ring sizes of 21in (510mm) or 24in (620mm). Transport width is less than 3m.

The King Roller range has centre pivoting on all sections to allow them to follow ground contours, says the company. He-Va’s Special Active Transfer (SAT) system transfers the weight of the frame, drawbar and wheel evenly across the working width, to ensure consistent rolling across the field.

The rolls, imported from Denmark, cost ÂŁ34,642 and ÂŁ42,174 for the 12.5m and 15.3m versions, respectively, when fitted with 24in (620mm) rings.
