Labrador and Expert oilseed rape yields were better than expected for Simon Dann in Tuddenham, Norfolk. Forty eight hectares yielded 4t/ha, with Expert proving the better variety, he said.

After doubts earlier in the season, he was “surprised” by the good yields and quality. Yields were up on last year when the good looking crop did not yield as expected.

The wheat was looking well and he expects to start cutting soon.
