Outstanding yields for Lioness

Oilseed rape harvest has finished for Martin Boulden in Ashford, Kent. Yields averaged 3.75t/ha over 320ha, with Labrador and Borneo fairing well. He said the most outstanding yields were from Lioness at 5t/ha, and the quality of all varieties was about average.


Mr Boulden was pleased the weather had stayed good for 500ha of wheat. He started cutting Claire yesterday (7 August) at 15.5% moisture, yielding 10t/ha, and was looking to start cutting Hereward today.
