UK potato tech firm acquires sprout control specialist

Yorkshire based potato company Produce Investments has announced the acquisition of Biofresh Safestore, an established leader in sprout suppression.

Expanding a growing technology portfolio, Produce Investments hopes the acquisition will complement its existing portfolios in agri-tech innovation and agronomy.

The plan is to offer customers greater choice and flexibility from portable to fixed sprout suppression systems through a single partner.
