Raptor sprayer revealed on Berthoud stand

Cereals exhibitor 2009
Berthoud’s new self-propelled sprayer, the Raptor, will be on show at the company’s stand in the Sprays & Sprayers area.
The Raptor’s high clearance and smooth-underbelly design incorporates an active air-suspension system on both front and rear axles for excellent stability, says the company.
There are two new models with 3200-litre and 4200-litre tanks and booms from 24m (Axiale) up to 44m wide (Ektar). Power comes from Deutz 180hp and 200hp diesel engines offering three work and road speeds up to 40 kph. Two Rexroth hydrostatic pumps drive four variable wheel motors. Hydro Pilot cruise control is fitted as standard, as are 2 wheel, 4 wheel and crab steering.
The larger, air conditioned cab offers good all-ound visibility and a rear hinged door for improved sealing and minimal noise pollution. A pneumatic 180 degrees swivel chair ensures operator comfort.
