Cereals exhibitor 2009

Renewable Energy Growers is a farmer-controlled producer group to help farmers maximise energy crop opportunities.

It offers a range of services, from advice on what to plant, grant applications, planting, agronomy, crop management and harvesting, through to marketing and selling the end product to energy customers.

Renewable Energy Growers wants new grower members and to find new end-users for the energy. The model has succeeded in the Yorkshire region and will now be rolled out nationally.

Experts will be on hand to discuss any aspects of growing or the use of energy crops.
