Syngenta obtain approval for new SDHI fungicide in wheat
Approval for a second new SDHI wheat fungicide this spring has been given to Syngenta.
Seguris, a mix of isopyrazam and triazole fungicide epoxiconazole, will join Bayer CropScience’s Aviator Xpro (prothioconazole + bixafen) in giving growers a choice of new chemistry.
The product is also approved for use in winter and spring barley, where it will compete against Bontima (isopyrazam + cyprodinil), launched last season by Syngenta, and Siltra Xpro (prothioconazole + bixafen) from Bayer CropScience.
