THE ARABLE Group (TAG) will be offering farmers across the country agronomy training after securing Vocational Training Scheme funding.

The half day courses will be run from January to March 2005, covering a range of agronomy subjects from optimising fungicide programmes to maximising machinery efficiency.

Courses cost £17 for eligible farmers – i.e. those with a holding number and a Training Needs Assessment.

Courses have also been awarded 4 BASIS points and 4 NRoSO points each.
