There are hundreds of cereals, oilseed and root crop varieties at this year’s Cereals event and to help you plan your visit, Farmers Weekly has put together a virtual video tour giving the key highlights of the trial plots.
AICC agronomist Peter Brumpton, who has been overseeing the AICC plots, gives us a sneak preview around the plots, picking out some of the things growers can look forward to the event on 12 and 13 June.
These include the latest varieties on the Recommended Lists, as well as agronomy demonstrations showing the effects of different herbicides and variable seed rates.
Also on show will be a crop plots showing the effects of straw burning on weed populations.
Tickets are available to purchase on line using the new e-ticketing system or can be purchased on the day of the event near Boothby Graffoe, Lincolnshire.
