Widow loses ownership of late husband’s farm

A widow has lost her battle over the ownership of a £1.2m farm in Hampshire to her stepchildren.
Felicity Sprackling argued that her late husband, Richard, had intended to leave the whole of Sandilands Farm in Rogate to her, as he feared his sons Simon and Shon would divide it up.
However, a High Court ruling by Mr Justice Norris said that Mrs Sprackling should receive only the farmhouse and that the final will had contained an error and should be amended.
The 43ha (106-acre) farm trades as Rother Valley Organic and produces organic meat.
