Yields up in Yorkshire
Oilseed rape and barley yields were up on last year for Andrew Coster. Fifty four hectares of Winner oilseed rape yielded 4.1t/ha, which he was pleased with.
He said moisture came in at 10 -11% and the crop only needed to go over the dryer quickly which was good.
Robigus and Napier winter wheats are close to ready with moisture at 19%. He said the crop is looking very good at the moment.
