Sampo-Rosenlew launches new combine models

Finnish combine maker Sampo-Rosenlew, imported into the UK by Essex company Trials Equipment, has revamped its range of small and mid-range combines for harvest 2012 and added three new Comia models.
While the general layout remains the same, with a pre-separation drum positioned ahead of the threshing cylinder and a straw loosening retracting tine drum positioned over the straw walkers on some models, the three new Comia models have a number of new and upgraded features.
These include a smarter and better-equipped Premium Plus cabin, re-designed electronics, new chassis and drive axle, revamped headers, latest-emissions spec Sisu engines and new styling.
Easy cleaning-out between crops, which is helped by using stainless steel for the straw walker bottoms, sieves and grain pan, remain key features of the hydrostatic drive machines.
The Comia C4 has a 150hp 4-cylinder 150hp Sisu Power engine, 3.9m header, 3,700 litre grain tank and four straw walkers. The Comia C6 gets a six-cylinder 185hp Sisu Power engine, 4.2m header, 4,200 litre grain tank and five straw walkers.
The biggest model, the Comia C8, has a 4.5m header, air-conditioning, pre-threshing cylinder, five straw walkers and 5,200 litre grain tank.
