At the heart of the Kverneland offering is a strong and extensive product range including soil & cultivation equipment, seed drills, spreaders, feeding & bedding machines and precision farming technology.
It all started in 1879, in a small blacksmith in Kvernaland, Norway. Ole Gabriel Kverneland built a forge to manufacture scythes, which later on he developed into a production of small ploughs for horses.
During the industrial revolution, horsepower was replaced by machine power and the implements range grew.
Today, an impressive 140 years later, Kverneland has grown into a leading supplier of innovative agricultural machinery and services.
During 2019, Kverneland will celebrate 140 years of history, the success stories, but most of all the positive co-operation and partnerships with the people that make it all possible.
