Adas bought by environmental consultant RSK

Adas, the UK’s largest independent farm consultancy business, has been bought by international environmental and engineering and technical support business RSK.
Buying Adas will bring land management, crop and food production, specialist chemical risk assessment and town planning expertise to RSK, which has more than 45 offices around the world.

RSK’s existing areas of work cover property and construction, oil and gas, mining and minerals, commercial and transport, conventional and nuclear power, including work for government departments.
Adas, now a limited company, was established more than 65 years ago as an arm of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food to advise farmers and develop agriculture.
It specialises in agricultural consultancy, rural development services and policy advice and employs 300 people across 15 offices in the UK. The Adas brand will be retained and will trade as a new company, RSK Adas.
