Amenity opportunity in Nottinghamshire
About 90 acres of amenity land at Holme Pierrepont in Nottinghamshire will be auctioned on 1 November.
Owned by one of the UK’s largest suppliers of aggregate, the land was the site of commercial sand and gravel workings and is now fully restored to pasture and woodland with 32 acres of ponds and lakes. It is for sale as a whole and carries a guide price of ÂŁ150,000-200,000.
The land is mainly Grade 3 with freely draining, slightly acidic loamy sands in a single block.
There will be a 50% clawback on any uplift in value if planning permission is granted for any use other than agriculture, conservation or fishing. (Savills 0115 934 8121)
