Farmer dies after bull attack
A Carmarthenshire farmer has died after being attacked by a bull.
The farmer, David Stephens, 55, was understood to have been testing his herd for bovine tuberculosis when the animal attacked him on his farm in Kidwelly.
Police say he suffered a punctured lung in the incident on Tuesday (22 January). He was airlifted to Morriston Hospital but later died of his injuries.
Swansea’s coroner has been informed and an inquest will be opened next week.The Health and Safety Executive and Dyfed-Powys Police are investigating the incident.
