Girl aged six killed in tractor collision

A six-year-old girl has died in a collision involving a tractor on a rural road in North Wales.

Teal Amelia David, from Frieth, near Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire, suffered fatal injuries in the crash.

Police have appealed for witnesses to the crash, which happened on an unclassified road near Aberdaron on Saturday morning (28 June), to come forward.

A spokesman for North Wales Police said: “Anyone with information relating to the incident is asked to call the Roads Policing Unit on 101 quoting reference S093701.”

Teal had been holidaying with her family in North Wales and had been due to return home in a few days.

According to media reports, the tractor, which was towing a boat, was being driven by her father, farm vet Evan David.

An inquest will be opened and adjourned into Teal’s death this week.
