Centenary award to focus on sustainable farming

Sustainable agriculture, climate change and technology are the focus of this year’s NFU Mutual Centenary Award for postgraduate students in agriculture.
The annual award pays up to 75% of course fees for students starting a Masters or PhD in Autumn 2014.
Interest students will need to focus on one of these three key areas:
- Sustainable agriculture and climate change
- International agricultural development
- The application of science and innovative technology to the agricultural industry
The award is open to students who have, or are expected to gain, a 2:1 or above in agriculture or a closely related degree, and have already been accepted on a Masters or PhD course in agriculture in the UK.
The closing date for 2014 applications is 30 April. Contact centenary_award@nfumutual.co.uk for further details and an application form.
