FFA’s deadline for Arla to reverse price cut draws near

ARLA FOODS UK has been given until lunchtime on Friday (June 17) to reverse the company’s 0.35p/litre milk price cut announced earlier this month.

If it does not, it will face an “open season” of protests, Farmers for Action has warned.

FFA leader David Handley originally gave the firm a Monday (Jun 13) deadline.

But he has told FARMERS WEEKLY he had been asked for more time by Arla’s chief executive Tim Smith.
