Farmers and crofters from across Scotland are gathering in St Andrews for NFU Scotland’s AGM and conference.
Politics is taking centre stage at the union’s centenary AGM today (Monday 11 February) and tomorrow.
Common Agricultural Policy reform, farm assurance and the prospect of an independent Scotland are among the topics up for discussion at the event.
Political heavyweights attending include farm minister David Heath, Scottish rural affairs secretary Richard Lochhead and Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond.
