Galloway estate with woodland

A Scottish residential estate is being marketed this week by Savills for offers of more than £1.575m.

The 344-acre estate on the banks of the Urr Water, Galloway, includes a mansion house, gate lodge and three courtyard cottages.

The Kirkennen Estate at Castle Douglas is about three miles south of Dalbeattie in Galloway and is mainly woodland with around 35 acres of parkland.

The estate and woodland are available separately, with the 270-acre wood for sale at £600,000 and the estate £975,000.

The woodland includes sporting rights, with roe deer stalking available.
