Largs land offered

A block of agricultural and amenity land is on offer above the coastal town of Largs in North Ayrshire.

Extending to 810ha (2,002 acres), it is made up of 78 acres of in-bye grazing, 1,868 acres of open hill ground and 55 acres of woodland.

The land at Halkshill lies within the Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park and is naturally well-drained, with a couple of burns providing a reliable water supply, said Savills.

With no farm buildings, the local planning office has said that in principle it would support an application for a dwelling and farm steading.

On the market for £600,000, it is for sale as a whole or in two lots.
