Social media push to urge shoppers to back dairy farmers

Farmers are turning to social media to help promote British dairy products in the face of plummeting farmgate prices and a decline in producer numbers.
Supporters of the dairy industry are sharing pictures of themselves drinking glasses of milk and using the hashtags #milktash and #teamdairy to spread the message that by buying British milk, cheese and yoghurt, shoppers can help support the sector.
