Milk Link cut is revised

MILK LINK has revised its controversial 0.5p/litre price cut, which was unleashed to a chorus of outrage last month.

After a “constructive” council meeting last week, it was announced that 0.25p of the decrease would be now be added to members’ existing 0.5p/litre capital retention levy. The balance would still be considered a price cut and was necessary to replenish reduced revenues from the firm’s ingredients business.
