More opportunities for collaboration, farmers to be told

Farmers and food companies are losing out on valuable opportunities to work together, the English Food and Farming Partnership will tell food industry leaders at its conference next week.
The conference, on 31 October at the Law Society in London, will bring together leading food manufacturers, retailers, farmers and policy makers.
Speakers including DEFRA minister Lord Rooker and government farming adviser Sir Don Curry will discuss collaboration across the food chain, as well as new challenges, such as climate change, facing the farming industry.
