National YFC competition results announced
Builth Wells YFC walked off with the coveted first prize in the national performing arts competition at the annual young farmers convention in Blackpool (May 8).
The wining team performed a piece called Big Trouble in Little China. Cornwall YFC came second and Herefordshire came third.

Senior YFC Ambassador of the Year – Elizabeth Hunt, Leighton Buzzard YFC, Bedfordshire
Written pub quiz – 1st: Devon; 2nd: Derbyshire; 3rd: Nottinghamshire.
The Prince of Wales Perpetual Charity Challenge Trophy – 1st: Cornwall; 2nd: Essex;
3rd: Somerset
NFU Trophy – Cumbria
Tug Wilson Trophy – Derbyshire
The Worshipful Company of Farmers’ Trophy – Warwickshire
Merrick Burrell Trophy – Hertfordshire
Sidney Fawcett Trophy – Anna Blythe
The Lionel J Hill MBE NFYFC Club Charity Cup – Drigg YFC, Cumbria
National jazz dance winners – 1st: Bakewell YFC, Derbyshire; 2nd: Isabel Probert Teme Valley, Hereford; 3rd: Withleigh YFC, Devon
