Hardship deadline extended again

THE DEADLINE for making applications for hardship under the Single Payment Scheme in England has again been extended to Friday April 22.

DEFRA said this decision had been made in order to help, as far as possible, those farmers who have had difficulties in putting together their application.

“It is, however, important that undue load is not placed on the RPA timetable for making scheme payments and so this will be the final extension.”
